Refund Policy

At Shady Oak Lawn and Tree Service, we are committed to delivering high-quality lawn and tree care services. Due to the nature of our work, the following refund policy applies:
1. No Refunds on Completed Services
Once a service has been fully completed, refunds are not guaranteed. Labor, equipment use, and time cannot be recovered after the work is performed.
2. Satisfaction Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with the service provided:

You must notify us within 48 hours of service completion.

We will assess the concern and may offer:

A return visit to correct the issue

A partial refund (at our sole discretion)

3. Deposits and Prepayments

Deposits made to secure scheduling or large jobs may be non-refundable.

If a cancellation is made with proper notice ([24–48 hours]), deposits may be applied to a future service.
4. Cancellations and Refund Eligibility

Cancellations made before work begins may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

Cancellations made after crews are dispatched or work has started may incur charges for time, labor, and travel.
5. Weather and Uncontrollable Conditions

Services delayed or rescheduled due to weather or safety concerns are not eligible for refunds.

We will work with you to reschedule as soon as possible.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:

Conditions outside our control (soil conditions, weather impact, pest issues, etc.)

Pre-existing property damage or undisclosed hazards

Desired outcomes that were not included in the agreed scope of work
7. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:

It will be processed within [5–10 business days]

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible
